But this release makes Toccer largely feature complete. Notable to this release is the ability to export your logs to either Memo Pad or to a memory card. One thing that was left out was the workaround for the problem where Toccer reconnects regularly. The quick fix has been rolled back, and a proper fix is being researched.

Known Issues (same as 0.9, Preview 10)

• Renaming groups are not synced to the AIM servers. Because the group names are not synced, deleting buddies from a group that has been renamed will not work correctly – the buddy will appear deleted but will reappear after logging back on. Three workarounds are: 1) Delete the buddy using your desktop computer. 2) Rename the group back to what it was originally, and then delete the buddy. 3). Delete the buddy again after it reappears in its original group.

Changes

• Fixed issues where Toccer would crash when launched. Issues were due to an inconsistent internal state.
• Fixed issue where first message from a new buddy (not on the buddy list) is lost.
• Fixed issue where user can send an empty message (which disconnects the user).
• Fixed issue where buddy list is imported backwards (in the opposite order of which it was created).
• Fixed issues related to moving groups around.
• Restricted certain group actions to when the user is online.

The Unread IMs list should be particularly useful for users with large buddy lists. Instead of scrolling through your buddy list and/or digging through collapsed groups looking for new messages, your buddies with Unread IMs will be listed off the Buddy List menu. Of course, the buddy list will continue to reflect their correct state.

The buddy list bugs were largely relics of the TOC2 migration. Somehow they’ve gone unnoticed. If you’ve added buddies from Toccer and wonder why they never appear online, you may either want to re-add them in Toccer (but you would have delete them first which will erase their associated logs) or correct them from your desktop computer.

The big change in this release is support for multiple profiles. Now your buddy lists for your different accounts won’t become mingled. Support for multiple profiles was also needed to support TOC2 properly.

Update: This release solves this crashing issue specifically. .mac accounts are still no supported, but instead of crashing, Toccer displays the error correctly.
• Fixed bug where user could not see the cursor if they entered a long username or hostname in the Connection Preferences.
• Fixed bug where malformed HTML entities were causing IMs to be truncated in the chat form.
